Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern all photography and event services provided by SD Photography. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Booking & Deposits

A booking is only confirmed once the required £50 deposit has been received. The deposit secures the agreed date and time and is subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Payments

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including dates, times, locations and any special requirements. SD Photography cannot be held responsible for missed photographs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

5. Photography Services

SD Photography will make every reasonable effort to capture all key moments of the event. However, due to the nature of live events, specific photographs cannot be guaranteed.

6. Image Delivery

Image delivery times may vary depending on the event and workload. Estimated delivery times will be communicated to the client at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated within the package description, clients will receive digital copies of their photographs through an online gallery or digital download.

7. Editing & Creative Style

Clients acknowledge that they have reviewed SD Photography’s portfolio and understand the photographic and editing style provided.

Final edited images are delivered at the sole discretion of SD Photography and will reflect our professional creative judgement.

8. Copyright & Usage

All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of SD Photography.

Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to download, share and print their photographs.

Images may not be sold, altered for commercial purposes or used for advertising without prior written permission from SD Photography.

9. Promotional Use

Unless otherwise requested in writing before the event, SD Photography reserves the right to use photographs for portfolio, website, social media, marketing and promotional purposes.

10. Equipment Failure & Force Majeure

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, severe weather, venue restrictions, government action or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control, SD Photography’s liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client.

11. Limitation of Liability

SD Photography shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the provision of photography services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the booking.

12. Green Screen & Backdrop Hire

Clients hiring green screens, backdrops or related equipment are responsible for ensuring the equipment is used safely and appropriately during the event.

Any deliberate damage caused by guests, organisers or attendees may result in additional charges.

13. Changes to Bookings

Requests to amend event dates, times or locations must be made as soon as possible. Any changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
